A LITTLE INTRO...

We are a Lived experience Led organisation which acts as catalysts for change through the creation and support of locally led Collectives for Change.

This will be done, primarily but not exclusively, through a diverse and creative range of programmes, projects, training, events, consultancies and all round support.

Our team has active involvement/roles, links and established networks across the UK in funders, trusts, foundations and other related bodies including The Global Majority Fund, The Ubele Initiative, Baobab Foundation, Future Foundations UK, Resourcing Racial Justice, the Centre for Knowledge Equity, 2027 programme, Ten Years Time and the School for Social Entrepreneurs. 

Furthermore we have established links across the wider Philanthropy sector, key funders, local Community Foundations and Voluntary Sector Infrastructure (Development) Organisations.

We have actively represented on the Greater Manchester Funders BAME Collaborative Group which has helped us develop a deeper understanding of the specific and urgent issues for Global Majority communities and organisations current needs, making recommendations on how targeted funding could be quickly and effectively brought to supporting our communities and organisations.

We also have vast experience in co-creating innovative participatory grant making approaches, most recently for The National Lottery Community Fund (NI) and Comic Relief on The Global Majority Fund. 

Importantly, we also continue to stay well connected to, and embedded within, the people and communities we serve. 

Create long lasting Inclusive Environments driven by Equality and Justice, and furthermore drive positive Individual, Local, Structural and Societal Change as part of a range of collectives under a shared vision.

This in turn, will contribute to our overall vision of creating more collaborative, embedded and Community Driven approaches leading to improved lives and outcomes for our communities.

We will forge a highly skilled and experienced, well connected collective of collectives collaborating to create change to make maximum impact.
